01

Pricing & Booking

How much do you cost?

Prices vary depending on your date, venue and package. Enquire with your date and I’ll give you an exact all-in figure the same day, no vague “from” prices.

Do you do discounts?

Yes, Sunday to Wednesday dates are sometimes cheaper, and off-peak months help too.

How far ahead should we book?

Summer Saturdays and bank holidays go 12 to 18 months out, sometimes more. If your date is set, check it now. It costs nothing and holds nothing against you.

How do we secure our date?

A deposit locks the date, paid by Revolut. After that the date is yours and we turn away anyone else who asks for it. The balance isn’t due until the day of the wedding.

What happens after we enquire?

You get an auto-confirmation within 30 seconds, then I reply personally, usually within the hour during the day. No sales team, no follow-up spam, no hard sell.

02

The Night Itself

How long do you play for?

Two live sets totalling 2+ hours, timed around your first dance and the evening food. With the Band + DJ package the music runs non-stop from first dance to around 2am.

What time do you start and finish?

Typically we’re on at 9:30pm with your first dance and the band finishes around midnight, with the DJ taking it to 2am or venue close, whichever is first. We fit around your venue’s schedule, not the other way round.

What happens during the food break?

The DJ keeps music running so the room never goes flat: background level while people eat, building again as they drift back. There’s never dead air.

Is it really the same band every time?

Always. One band, one wedding. We never send out a second line-up under the name. The people in our videos are the people at your wedding.

All our musicians have top-quality stand-ins (deps) available for rare but unforeseen events such as illness or personal issues. We have a very high standard of musician in our band and boast the highest class of musicianship out there.

Can we see you play before booking?

Yes. Watch the live videos on the site, or come along to one of our showcase nights and stand in the room with us. Most couples book on the spot, but no pressure either way.

03

Music & Requests

Can you learn our first dance?

We can very often learn a song for your first dance if you prefer it to be played live, but sometimes we may not be able to take the song on and can play the original track over our PA or the DJ system if booked on the night.

Can we pick the setlist?

You give us your must-plays and your do-not-plays, and we build the rest live by reading your crowd. Ten years of doing this beats any pre-planned list. Trust me on that one.

What kind of music do you play?

Everything from Motown and The Beatles to the Club 90’s set and Mr Brightside, whatever gets YOUR crowd up. Every generation gets their moment on the floor.

Do you take requests on the night?

The band works from the room, and the DJ absolutely takes requests all night. Between the two, your guests will hear what they want to hear.

We have mixed ages. Can you handle that?

That’s literally our speciality. Grandparents up for the classics, parents for the 80s, your mates for the 90s and now. Three generations on one floor is our favourite sight.

04

Practical Stuff

Do you travel anywhere in Ireland?

No, we don’t. We usually stay within 2 hours of Dublin.

What do you need from the venue?

Honestly, very little: access to the room, power, and somewhere to park. We bring the full PA and lighting ourselves and liaise with the venue directly about setup times.

Our venue has a sound limiter. Is that a problem?

No. We play limited venues every month and size the rig accordingly. Tell me the venue name and I’ll probably already know its quirks.

How long does setup take?

About half an hour to 45 minutes, and we do it quietly around your day, usually after the meal and speeches so nobody ever sees a band lugging speakers through the room while guests are eating.

Are you insured?

Fully. Public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment, and we can send certificates straight to your venue if they ask. Most do, and it’s never an issue.
