Both include full production. The only question is who takes you to 2am.
The Band

Two live sets totalling 2+ hours, timed around your venue’s meal service and your first dance.

First dance → set one lifts the room → short break with background music → set two takes it home.
Band + DJ
What’s included
- Everything in The Band package
- The DJ from band close to venue close
- Seamless band-to-DJ handover, zero silence
- Requests welcome all night
How long the music runs
2+ hours of live band, then the DJ carries the floor to 2am (or whenever your venue calls time). Typically 4.5 hours of non-stop music.

How the night flows
Same as The Band, except when the band takes its break and finishes, the DJ is already playing. The floor never gets a chance to empty.
The DJ
Most bands hand you off to whatever DJ the agency has spare. We don’t. The DJ is part of The Team, at every wedding, watching the band’s sets, and picking up the floor exactly where they leave it.
The DJ takes your must-play list and your do-not-play list before the day, then reads the room like a musician, because they work with the band every weekend.
9:30pm To 2am, Minute By Minute
Every wedding is tweaked to the venue and the couple, but here’s the shape of a classic Moogs night.
First dance, live
The band opens with your first dance, learned specially or from CD, then invites everyone up before the last note fades.

An hour of crowd-readers: Motown, classics, singalongs. Grandparents and college mates on the same floor.

Guests grab the evening bites; the DJ keeps the energy warm with background floor-fillers so the room never flattens.
DJ · Food BreakSet two: the big one
The Club 90’s set and the anthems. Back-to-back, no gaps, no chats between songs. This is the hour people talk about.
Band · Set TwoSeamless DJ handover
The band’s last chord rings out and the DJ is already mixing in. Nobody leaves the floor because the music never stops.
DJ · TakeoverThe last singalong
The DJ winds it up with the closer you chose: arms around shoulders, full voice, lights up. Goosebumps.

Do you handle all the equipment and setup?
Everything: PA, lighting and the DJ rig all arrive with us. We liaise directly with your venue about access and setup times so you never have to think about it.
Can we choose the setlist?
You give us your must-plays, your do-not-plays and your first dance, and we build the rest live by reading your crowd. It’s the best of both: your taste, our instincts.
What if our venue has a sound limiter?
No problem. We play venues with limiters regularly and size our rig accordingly. Tell us the venue and we’ll know what’s needed.
Can we book the DJ separately, or add him later?
The DJ is available as part of the Band + DJ package, and yes, you can start with The Band and add the DJ later, subject to availability. Book early for peak dates.
